I am Fueled by games and cartoons which helps me bring my illustrations, characters, animation, and comic ideas to life.
I am a Game art(and animation) Graduate that has been working as a visual artist for the past 2 year. I am a creatively driven person who is obsessed with games and cartoons. I am very enthusiastic about art and overly curious with discovering new approaches to creating art. i am a fast learner in terms of adapting to different art styles and producing work to a high quality.
I am currently working as a freelancer doing odd jobs while working at the family business as an administrator. I previously worked as a junior Visual artist for a Glasgow based company Weeworld ltd – an avatar-based massive multi-player online social network – were my main focus was on creating new art content for the main website and also the various Apps that they have launched.
My main interest is characters and character development. From a very young age I found myself always doodling characters that would pop into my imagination.
I have also created my own app called 'qikpic' that is on the app store for free. Feel free to have a play.

I currently work in the family business after the administrator became ill. I do daily tasks of answering phones, Organising invoices and making sure all clients are happy.

Due to the unfortunate circumstances with my previous employment I decided to become a freelancer and try to explore different options in terms of art. I offered services to re-skin game apps and also had a recurring freelance role back with Weeworld for a few months between june- September.

Due to the amount of artwork that was being requested I was offered a full-time permanent position to join the creative team.
My main responsibilities are: Produce assets for the Weeworld Website; Create assets and then maintain content for Weeworlds latest Apps; Voice creative idea’s that could benefit Weeworld positively; Work as a team to produce the material for Weeworld Clients.
One of my main roles was to create sticker pack concepts with the characters that we had out on the weeworld site and also apps to help pitch to clients. From there we also created and formed new characters for the sole purpose of stickers.

Once my 6 week internship ended I was offered a job as a full-time in house freelancer. What I had learned previously was now put to the test as I was required to deliver at the same speed as the other artists. I took this as a new challenge and motivated myself to be on the same level as the rest of the team.

I Started in Weeworld as an intern working 2 days a week for 6 weeks. In that time I gained knowledge about what the company produces as a whole and what they hope to achieve with future products. During the 6 weeks I was tasked with learning the various art styles that were required for each project. Once the assets where to a satisfactory standard, my next task was to maintain an acceptable pace where I could successfully produce a sufficient amount of assets while maintaining the high quality that the art assets have.

In the 4 years I studied at Caledonian, I learned a variety of different mediums to further help develop and improve my art skills which are essential for the games industry. As well as learning and developing my art skills, I also learned photography; Video editing; research and development; UI interface design and a beginner level into games design. As a whole I found that All of the skills that I acquired have helped me in the industry.

I decided to take a year out between High school and university and do a portfolio course to see what I would want to specialize in for my career. After the course I successfully created a portfolio that displayed my passion for art and also for games.
